For Wang Rui, the memory of completing a task independently for the first time is still vivid. It was a complex experience mixed with high excitement and a touch of anxiety. "Finally, I had the chance to apply what I had learned to practice," he recalled. "From design, modification to data improvement, until the equipment installation was completed, every step was full of a sense of achievement."

However, the road to growth is not smooth. Due to his unfamiliarity with the process and lack of experience, there were repeated revisions and even rework during the task, which once made him "a little anxious and frustrated at one point". But it is precisely these obstacles that have become the most direct catalysts for growth. He took the initiative to seek advice, review and reflect, and optimize the methods. Finally, with the support and affirmation of his leaders, he successfully completed the task. "All the exhaustion turned into motivation," Wang Rui concluded. When he submitted his first independently completed drawing for review, Li Lin not only pointed out the mistakes in detail but also conveyed to him design thinking that went beyond the drawing itself.

When doing design, one cannot merely focus on the design itself. One needs to take into account many factors such as technical requirements, processing and production, and processing costs. Wang Rui realized that the essence of design work is far from being as simple as "drawing", but rather "solving practical problems with rationality and precision, and finding the best balance among safety, performance and cost". This leap from a single technical operation to systematic engineering thinking is attributed to the mentor's unreserved imparting of experience. Such exchanges in daily life are like pruning a growing sapling, constantly expanding his professional vision and the boundaries of his capabilities, enabling him to deeply understand that the ultimate goal of design is to "turn ideas into reality that can stand the test of time".
